My first Solo Show: Color Play at STITCH on Melrose Ave. hosted by NWO art Gallery
The intertwining of good company and my colorful array of artworks created in the past year amalgamated into one great night. The title "Color Play" encapsulated my intention for the show, which was to showcase the experimental styles in which I manipulated the paint to created a facade that suggests no exploration of any serious iconography. Which in fact was a ruse for the underlying themes explored in each painting.

Here, I explore the struggles of over-saturation in metropolitans in contrast to the ever thinning habitats of wildlife preservatives. This painting removes the wild giraffe from its sparse and nearly destroyed habitat and puts them into a pseudo "natural" city landscape where they now take the place of humans.
